Horeb Area & Dane County (as needed)RequirementsValid driver's license & reliable vehicleWHO YOU'LL WORK WITH (AND WHAT THEY HAVE TO SAY)The Age at Home Caregiver works as part of a collaborative team and is responsible for assisting clients with companionship activities, personal cares, medication reminders, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.

"The work is very rewarding and I feel I have 24/7 support from management" - Age at Home CaregiverHOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THIS ROLE (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)Assist Clients with Activities of Daily Living:
EatingBathingDressingTransferringToiletingWalking or moving aroundHousekeeping, Errands, and Companionship:Assistance with walks/rides and light exerciseHouse cleaning, laundry, dishes, taking out trash, dusting, vacuuming, making beds, and changing linensMeal preparation, grocery shopping, and checking expiration datesAssists with pet careKeeping calendars up to dateActivities such as playing games, looking at photos, and readingAccompany client to events, appointments, religious services, etc

Administrative Tasks and Other Duties:
Records accurate time and documents notes in appropriate systemsReports unusual or client changes to supervisorCollaborates with office staff and other caregivers to ensure coordination of careRegularly checks work email and responds within 24 hours to scheduling requests YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

Smart phone with data plan and Wi-Fi capabilityDriver's license preferredAccess to reliable transportation Must be at least 18 years of age Ability to be on time for visits and complete tasks on the care planAbility to use proper body mechanics and standard precautions Ability to follow HIPPA laws and maintain confidentiality about clients, families, caregivers, and donors FTE Role Only:
