About the Position
As the EDI Analyst, you will collaborate with trading partners to ensure accurate and timely responses related to eligibility, claim status, and prior authorization requests. Additionally, you will focus on enhancing department processes to deliver maximum value to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Investigate and resolve real-time data discrepancies with trading partners.
- Take charge of troubleshooting and research related to transmission.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of assigned products.
- Explore enhanced connectivity solutions for automation, security, and performance.
- Monitor real-time traffic for potential connectivity issues.
- Keep clients informed of real-time outages through client facing alerts.
- Implement new direct connections and comply with industry mandates.
- Provide support to team members and other departments dealing with production issues.
- Assist in training new employees.
- Address internal requests for assistance in the EDI Real-Time Queue.
Requirements:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Familiarity with Windows-based computer environments and MS Office.
- Proactive approach to responsibilities and tasks.
- Capability to work independently in a corporate setting.
- Experience with healthcare claims transactions and technical support.
- Proficiency in EDI X12 healthcare transactions and Excel.
