**Responsibilities:**
- Conduct discussion groups and activities
- Monitor patient behavior
- Provide handbook orientation
- Assist patients with assessment forms
- Make phone calls to family/friends and referral sources
- Handle crisis interventions
- Transport patients to meetings
- Document interactions with patients
- Conduct urine screenings and complete related paperwork
- Offer post-discharge contacts/referrals as directed
- Complete intake paperwork as required
- Attend mandatory GRC trainings and in-services

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**
- Familiarity with 12-step programs and addictions is advantageous

**Requirements:**
- High school diploma or GED

**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Some college education

**Other Requirements:**
- Possession of a valid driver's license and a good driving record
- Completion of PA Criminal Background Check
- Clearances for PA Child Abuse and FBI Fingerprinting
- Successful Drug Screening
- TB Test
- Minimum of 18 months in recovery from substance dependence

**Work Conditions:**
- Conducive working environment
- Need to remain alert while on duty
- Limited physical exertion
- Manage mental demands to address patients' needs
