Financial Settlement Specialist

The Role

AXS is looking for an experienced Financial Settlement Analyst with strong skills in communication, accounting basics, and data analysis. You will be responsible for supporting the company's internal accounting and financial settlement with its clients.

What You'll Do

  • Run weekly reports from our AXS ticketing system to track revenues and liabilities
  • Collaborate with our accounting team to create journal entries that offer general ledger support
  • Determine settlement amounts and fees for events sold in the AXS system to facilitate payments to clients
  • Assist with reconciliation and financial analysis projects
  • Communicate with our clients' finance teams to ensure timely and accurate financial settlement of events using the AXS ticketing platform
  • Generate reports for clients to aid in settlement payments and invoices
  • Support our venue partners with reporting and financial matters related to AXS ticketing
  • Address client inquiries regarding settlement and financial issues with timely and clear communication
  • Become proficient in our internal reporting system to be a key resource for financial reporting knowledge within AXS
  • Aid our implementations team in setting up new clients based on the financial and settlement structure outlined in contracts
  • Create and maintain custom reports for internal and external use
  • Develop skills to accurately audit our fee structures based on client contracts

What To Bring

  • 1+ years of experience in accounting/finance and/or live event ticketing
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, including pivot tables and macros
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities
  • Previous experience in accounting/finance preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Capability to manage multiple projects and deadlines concurrently
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a business-related field
