  • Act as the primary liaison between the Plant and our valued customer, Tesla.
  • Ensure seamless communication of customer requirements and maintain updated customer portals.
  • Lead initiatives to meet customer expectations and enhance satisfaction levels (Reduce Customer complaints).
  • Engage in proactive discussions with the customer to address and resolve any concerns.
  • Conduct thorough product and process evaluations at the customer's location.

Qualifications for Resident Quality Engineer

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Quality Department experience within the automotive sector.
  • Preferably, possess knowledge in Steering Electrical or Column Electrical Products.
  • Previous experience as a Customer Service Engineer for at least 1 year.
  • Familiarity with Customer Portals, especially those used by Tesla.
  • Proficiency in tools like Minitab, IQ APIS, and other Core tools.
  • Strong understanding of Automotive Process Auditing and Risk-Based Thinking.
  • Familiarity with IATF 16949 Quality Management system standards for the Automotive Industry.
  • Skilled in Problem Solving, analysis, and effective decision-making.
  • Knowledge of Reverse FMEA validation and Error-Proofing Validation Procedures.
  • Preferred proficiency in both English and Spanish languages.
  • Willingness to travel to Mexico for business purposes.
