Lockheed Martin is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to become part of their dedicated team. This role is essential for fostering mechanical engineering expertise and guaranteeing the excellence of produced mechanical items.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Examine documentation associated with production processes to uphold product integrity.
  • Assist the manufacturing site by evaluating quality metrics and addressing process challenges.
  • Participate in corrective action discussions, spearhead problem-solving initiatives, and ensure that obligations are fulfilled.
  • Engage in Material Review Boards and Failure Review Boards to tackle non-compliant hardware and execute corrective measures.
  • Perform evaluations and audits to ensure adherence to specifications and standards.
  • Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and program staff regarding quality concerns.
  • Implement lean methodologies for ongoing enhancement and reduction of waste.
  • Make definitive judgments on product acceptability.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with SAP applications and proficiency in data analysis.
  • Capability to interpret technical drawings and specifications for quality control.
  • Familiarity with inspection tools and measurement devices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Understanding of quality management systems and regulations.
  • Certification in Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer and/or Certified Quality Improvement Associate.
  • Background in manufacturing and inspection methodologies.
