Responsibilities:

  • Design and craft ServiceNow applications and services.
  • Offer recommendations and actively participate in implementing ServiceNow requirements.
  • Manage complex business needs and drive them to completion.
  • Provide architectural oversight and impact analysis for new requirements.
  • Identify enhancement opportunities and streamline solution needs.
  • Collaborate with team leaders to enforce technical best practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Remain informed about ServiceNow products and relevant integrated technologies.
  • Develop and uphold a comprehensive view of the ServiceNow architecture.
  • Partner with the ServiceNow System Administrator to establish and maintain a detailed ServiceNow architecture view.
  • Align ServiceNow capabilities with established business strategies.
  • Support in estimating release level effort.
  • Contribute to ServiceNow software releases through configuration tasks and feature delivery.
  • Enhance stability and usability of ServiceNow via routine application maintenance.
  • Provide day-to-day operational assistance and address tickets.
  • Work with team members to devise optimal solutions for technical challenges.

Key Qualifications:

  • Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is mandatory
  • 5 years of software design and development experience
  • 3 years of ServiceNow development experience, encompassing Glide, scripting, business rules, client scripts, data imports, custom applications, and development methods
  • ServiceNow Implementation Specialist Certification required
  • Familiarity with Java or a similar Object-Oriented language
  • Proficiency in Web technologies such as JavaScript, Ajax, HTML, and CSS
  • Experience with LDAP and Web Service integration like API Web Services
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow development APIs and Single Sign-On setup and maintenance
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

Preferred:

  • ITIL v3 Foundations or other ServiceNow Certifications like Certified Application Developer, Certified System Administrator, or Certified Implementation Specialist
  • Exposure to ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, HWAM, SWAM, and SPM modules
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies and participation in software development life cycle
  • Experience in requirements management
  • Proficiency in quickly creating proof-of-concepts
