ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of contract administration and management.
  • Develop and maintain contract templates, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Evaluate contractual terms, mitigate risks, and negotiate on behalf of the company
  • Track and drive contracts to resolution, including identifying remaining contracting issues, identifying appropriate stakeholders to reach decisions, and convening meetings to drive efficient decision-making.
  • Regularly audit and maintain comprehensive contract records to ensure compliance
  • Identify and effectively communicate priorities and urgencies to applicable stakeholders.
  • Review and analyze contracts to identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor contract performance, including tracking key milestones, deliverables, and payments.
  • Resolve any contract disputes or issues that may arise.
  • Serve as an expert in Induce Biologics contract management system and processes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records and documentation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or relevant field
  • Experience in contract management, preferably in a similar industry or organization
  • 5 + years of experience in biotech/pharma drafting and negotiating a wide variety of contracts
  • Must have experience with the healthcare contracting landscape, including knowledge of Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), or experience within the medical device industry
  • Thorough understanding of contract law, including formation, interpretation, and execution
  • Strong negotiation skills with a focus on achieving favorable terms while nurturing positive relationships and achieving win-win outcomes
  • Strong knowledge of contract law and legal principles
  • Evidence of strong strategic thinking, analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficient in using contract management software or tools

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Paralegal certificate
  • Experience working with contract management systems platforms.
  • Knowledge and experience with healthcare compliance and ethics guidelines
