The Department of Developmental Services (DDS) is looking for a **Caring and Compassionate** applicant to join their team as a **Direct Care Worker II (DSW II)** in Georgetown, MA. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and service to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing habilitative, behavioral, and recreational programs
- Communicate effectively with individuals to promote their growth and human rights
- Support individuals in exercising their rights
- Report any abuse and neglect incidents
- Provide crisis intervention and maintain confidential records
Requirements:
- Knowledge of the service needs of individuals with developmental disabilities
- Ability to give clear instructions and coordinate activities
Agency Requirements:
- Must possess a valid Driver's License
- Must pass the Medication Administration Program (MAP) certification
- Obtain and maintain CPR and First Aid certification
Scheduled Hours:
Full-Time position, Sunday-Thursday 3PM-11:30PM, days off Fri/Sat
