Job Requirements:

Specific Job Functions:
  • Represents the bank to the customer in a courteous and professional manner, and provides prompt, efficient, and accurate service in the processing of transactions.
  • Capability to relate to and empathize with other people and to maintain a friendly, cheerful demeanor throughout the day.
  • Cross-sells bank's products and services as appropriate.
  • Advises customers of status of accounts and answers questions.
  • Knowledgeable in all aspects of the customer service department's policies and procedures.
  • Answers telephone and written inquiries concerning savings, certificate and checking accounts and can provide other account information.
  • Offers a Tell-Friend Coupon with an enthusiastic comment or explanation with every transaction.
  • Recommend the best checking account to customers by using the sales presentation process and asking for the business.
  • Utilize the HPC incentives to attract new customers (frees gifts, buy-back program).
  • Identify sales opportunities at the teller line and at the drive-thru and make professional referrals to other team members.
  • Wear your HPC button daily.
  • Assist with creating Thank You Gift displays.
  • Other responsibilities as needed to assist team members.
