Are you experienced in operating a Missile Bore? Join our team for a rewarding opportunity in the telecommunications industry.

Note: This is a long term 1099 contract role.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Inspect equipment before and after use to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Operate heavy equipment, such as vibratory plows, stick bores, and missile bores, safely and accurately.
  • Monitor equipment performance and conduct minor repairs as needed.
  • Track and schedule equipment maintenance, reporting any issues to the Supervisor.
  • Maintain accurate performance records and report any equipment problems.
  • Safely locate utilities to prevent damages during operations.
  • Load and unload equipment, ensuring compliance with market specifications.
  • Restore job sites to their original condition upon task completion.
  • Must reside within 40 miles of the location.
Requirements:
  • Minimum two years of experience as a missile bore operator.
  • Ability to identify and locate utilities to prevent damages.
  • Ability to splice and terminate various types of fiber optic cables, including single-mode and multi-mode fibers preferred.
  • Proficiency in safely and accurately completing tasks using construction equipment.
  • Experience following blueprints and schematics.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Must be comfortable working in an outdoor environment.
  • Ability to travel to project sites within the designated area or region required.
Required Experience:
  • Underground Drop, Equipment operator.
License/Certification:
  • Driver's License with clean driving record
Benefits:
  • Pay range $25 - $30 per hour
  • 1099 position. Long term job length.
