Position OverviewAs an Electrical Assembly Technician, you will:
- Assemble and wire components into fully functional electrical panels.
- Utilize various hand and power tools as required.
- Identify parts using detailed BOMs, schematics, standard operating procedures, tools, and/or fixtures.
- Adhere to specific job instructions and training protocols.
- Construct wire assemblies as needed.
- Conduct in-production testing and inspections with electronic testing equipment to verify that components and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.
- Organize and bundle wires and cables neatly in accordance with established electrical standards.
- Review work to ensure the delivery of error-free products.
- Interpret Bill of Materials to determine all components necessary for panel assembly.
- Ability to stand, bend, and reach for an 8+ hour shift.
- Willingness to work in a non-climate controlled environment.
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced setting with a strong emphasis on quality.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
- Moderate lifting capability of up to 50 lbs.
- Proficient in reading and understanding electrical wiring diagrams.
- Skilled in using a variety of mechanical and electrical hand tools for panel assembly.
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
- Competence in following verbal and written instructions.
- Capacity to collaborate with colleagues in close quarters, fostering a respectful team environment.
- Demonstrate precision and thoroughness in work output.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
This role is designated for the first shift, typically from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. Overtime may be frequently required based on business demands. Brunswick Corporation reserves the right to modify shifts and schedules as necessary.
