Position Overview

As an Electrical Assembly Technician, you will play a crucial role in the assembly and wiring of electrical panels. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Assembling and wiring components into finished electrical panels.
  • Utilizing various hand and power tools as necessary for assembly tasks.
  • Locating parts using detailed BOMs, drawings, and standard work procedures.
  • Following specific job instructions and training protocols.
  • Building wire assemblies as required.
  • Conducting in-production testing and inspections with electronic test equipment to ensure compliance with production specifications and standards.
  • Routing and bundling wires and cables neatly according to established electrical standards.
  • Verifying work to ensure the production of error-free products.
  • Reading Bills of Materials to identify all components necessary for panel assembly.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, bend, and reach for an 8+ hour shift.
  • Capability to work in a non-climate controlled environment.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on quality.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Moderate lifting ability, up to 50 lbs.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding electrical wiring diagrams.
  • Experience using a variety of mechanical and electrical hand tools for panel assembly.
  • Ability to work efficiently without direct supervision.
  • Capability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with coworkers in a team-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness in work output.
  • Adherence to company policies and procedures.

Shift:
This position is for the first shift, typically from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Overtime may be required based on business needs. Brunswick Corporation reserves the right to adjust shifts and times as necessary.
