About the Company:
The Elliot Hospital Laboratory is a dynamic 24/7 operation that holds both CAP and AABB accreditations. Our facility serves a Level II trauma center, a Level III NICU, a High-Risk Maternity unit, three urgent cares, two cancer centers, a community health center, and around 60 nursing and assisted living facilities, handling about 1.6 million tests yearly. We also act as an American Red Cross Blood depot for the State of New Hampshire, aiding other hospitals with critical blood product needs.
Job Overview:
As a Medical Technologist, you will be an integral part of our healthcare team, ensuring the highest level of care for our patients. Collaborating with fellow staff members, medical providers, and Pathologists, you will play a key role in determining clinical outcomes. Our well-equipped technical departments feature cutting-edge instrumentation such as molecular microbiology and Rotem coagulation technology.
Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory tests accurately and meticulously while safeguarding sample integrity.
- Promptly notify appropriate medical staff in case of critical or life-threatening results.
- Keep meticulous records and address any procedural issues encountered during daily tasks.
A Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Biology, Science, or related fields, or an equivalent mix of education and experience is necessary. A minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Technologist is preferred, along with expertise in phlebotomy and specimen collection. Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or MLS is highly desirable.

Work Shift:
