The Role

Lumen is currently seeking exceptional sales professionals in your area who are ready to engage with the community and introduce them to the innovative solutions available for their homes. Our Field Sales Associates play a crucial role in understanding customer needs, showcasing how Lumen can fulfill those needs, and ensuring that customers receive the best solutions possible. In addition to being community heroes, Field Sales Associates enjoy a competitive base salary along with monthly sales incentives.

Candidates must be based in Omaha, NE.

Location
  • This position involves field marketing and requires residency in the Omaha, NE area.
  • As a Field Sales role, the majority of your time will be spent working in the field.
  • While not a fully remote position, tasks other than field assignments can be performed from home.
  • Flexible scheduling, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, is part of the role.
The Main Responsibilities
  • Engage with community members through door-to-door sales to promote Lumen solutions.
  • Become proficient in the Tech industry to effectively communicate the range of Lumen solutions.
  • Showcase exceptional customer service by leaving a positive impression on every interaction.
  • Maintain detailed mileage and expense reports and provide weekly progress updates.
What We Look For in a Candidate

Required:

  • Passionate about customer advocacy, self-motivated, and able to work autonomously.
  • Hold a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills tailored to individual customer needs.

Preferred:

  • Minimum of 1 year of sales experience.
  • While a bachelor's degree is valued, success in this role is also driven by experience, attitude, and enthusiasm.
Compensation

Salaries for this role vary based on the primary work location of the employee. Starting compensation is determined by individual qualifications.

Salary range considerations take into account factors such as experience, education, skills, and business needs, alongside regional variations.

Individual pay is determined by skills, experience, and other relevant factors. Short-term incentives or sales compensation may be applicable to this position. Additionally, Executive positions are eligible for long-term incentives.
