We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Private Equity Business Development Representative to join our team in the Human Capital Management space.
As a key member of our Private Equity team, you will be responsible for identifying and cultivating relationships with private equity firms, driving revenue growth, and expanding our market presence for HCM in Private Equity.
This role requires a strong understanding of private equity and its value-creation efforts, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales and business development.
EssentialResponsibilities:
- Identify and target private equity firms as potential partners to assist and refer our HCM software solutions to their portfolio investments.
- Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decisionmakers within private equity firms, including partners, investment professionals, and portfolio company executives.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and potential business opportunities.
- Collaborate with Paycor internal teams, including sales, marketing, and industryspecific experts, to ensure alignment and maximize business opportunities.
- Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to showcase value creation efforts, and benefits of our HCM software solutions.
- Negotiate and close deals with private equity firms, and their portfolio companies ensuring mutually beneficial agreements and longterm partnerships.
- Track and report on sales activities, pipeline, and revenue forecasts to management.
- Stay uptodate with industry developments, emerging technologies, and market trends to provide valuable insights and recommendations.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within or selling to Private Equity firms.
- Strong understanding of private equity and its investment strategies, with a track record of successfully engaging with private equity firms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities, resulting in revenue growth and market expansion.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to understand complex client needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
- Selfmotivated and resultsoriented, with a proactive approach to achieving targets and objectives.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Pitchbook, and other sales tools.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
