You will work with multi-functional teams to develop of droop targets, design and implement a power supply network solution, and verify the quality of the power supply using lab measurements.

Key Qualifications

  • Experience in design and analysis of product power supply solution
  • Experience in PI/SI methodology development, PDN modeling from system to die, and lab correlation/validation
  • Understanding of power supply architecture covering voltage regulator technologies, PCB and package design trends and trade-offs, and chip supply design including low-power design methodologies
  • Solid understanding on PCB technologies including socket integration and its electrical performance in system environment
  • Good knowledge in 3D/2D EM simulation tools, electromagnetic and transmission line theory
  • Familiar with lab equipment including but not limited to VNA, real-time scope, spectrum analyzer
  • Ability to work and communicate efficiently in a multi-functional team
Description

  • Work with on-die/package/board power -delivery for current and future generations - Define the power architecture and design solution space for the target system - Provide implementation guidelines and feedback to silicon, package, and system design group - Perform feasibility study, design verification, and sign off - Perform model to hardware correlation on component and product/system level
Education & Experience

  • BS and +10 years of relevant industry experience
Pay & Benefits

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,700.00 and $300,200.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.

Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
