The Role of the Project Coordinator is to support Project Managers in multiple markets and perform required aspects of project quotations and order management, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and increased customer loyalty by taking a proactive approach to project support.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create and maintain project files in a consistent and orderly manner. Close out and archive project folders as required.
  • Create weekly Quotation Schedule and distribute to internal and external customer.
  • Request Approval Drawings from manufacturer reps and assemble submittal drawing packages.
  • Assemble operation and maintenance documents based on project requirements.
  • Create preliminary ship schedules and maintain weekly updates. Work with manufacturer reps to ensure on time performance.
  • Assist Project Sales I and II associates by performing internal and billing related change orders in Job Management.
  • Perform customer returns in Job Management and work with Project Managers to resolve defective and damaged product issues.
  • Participate in continuous training sessions and "Lunch & Learns" to stay current with and increase industry knowledge.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION:

Two years post high school education or equivalent experience desirable.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum two years office experience.
  • Experience with electrical industry helpful.
  • Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, internet navigation, and Adobe.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

  • Strong organizational skills. Able to manage time effectively
  • Ability to pay attention to details and understand cause/effect
  • Strong math aptitude * Solid oral and written communication skills
  • Solid problem-solving and cognitive skills
  • Ability to work independently, with flexibility and adaptability to workplace situations/expectations
