As an Assistant Director of Nursing, you will collaborate with the Director of Nursing to enforce resident care policies, oversee the nursing staff, and set standards to help residents achieve their best physical, spiritual, and psychosocial state.


Essential Job Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations and internal policies.
  • Coordinate and supervise resident care from admission to discharge.
  • Complete assessments, administer medications, and monitor residents' condition.
  • Lead and manage the nursing department staff.
  • Maintain a safe environment and adhere to infection control policies.
  • Build positive relationships with the team and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate nursing meetings, educational programs, and quality assurance activities.

Assistant Director of Nursing Minimum Required Qualifications:
  • Registered Nursing degree and current license.
  • 3+ years of nursing experience.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Federal and State Regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • BSN or MSN is a plus.
  • Prior experience working with seniors.
