About this role

This position will apply real estate valuation concepts to evaluate real estate markets, and research and monitor market conditions and trends pertinent to client projects. It is responsible for providing clients with research and valuation analysis to determine the value of their real estate assets and make strategic business decisions.


What you will do
  • Perform in-depth industry and market research
  • Conduct local, national, and international real estate market analysis using accepted approaches and theory
  • Employ valuation models for analysis such as discounted cash flow, property sales models, and construction cost models
  • Analyze leasehold properties and market rental rates using cash flow modeling
  • Utilize Marshall Valuation Service and develop cost estimates for various buildings
  • Gather data through client interaction, interviews, reviews of industry surveys, and demographic trends
  • Present analysis results clearly and concisely
  • Assist in training new analysts
  • Build client relationships
  • Travel as needed (approximately 15%)

What you will need
  • 2-6 years of experience in real estate valuation or consulting
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, or Economics
  • Progress toward relevant licenses and designations
  • Advanced Word and Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, comprehension, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly
  • Manage multiple tasks in a team setting
  • Work flexible hours around deadlines
  • Solid foundation in valuation principles and methodology
  • Authorization to work in the US
