The Retirement Plan (RP) Account Manager is responsible for customer service and ongoing maintenance support for Wilson Albers Retirement clients. They are charged with maintaining positive client relationships by actively managing accounts and assisting and supporting the Retirement Plan Advisors.

The RP Account Manager will manage current client accounts and assist in sustaining these clients by providing quality expertise, timely service and creative solutions to meet their needs. They implement administrative functions including both client administrative tasks and operational tasks to ensure quality services are provided.

Account Management

Serve as point of contact and resource to, and in alliance with, the plan sponsor to field planparticipant questions related to enrollment, coverage or other related questions. Coordinateservice and support activities with Advisor as appropriate. Refer complex or unique inquiries to Advisor when necessary.

Work with RP Advisors to identify and resolve client conflicts and concerns. Implement solutions as identified and ensure future conflicts or concerns are minimized.

Initiate and monitor the meeting process for the retirement plan block of business. Collaborate with the Advisors regarding strategies for retaining accounts and managing the market evaluation process

Manage and coordinate the review and analysis of plan data.

In support of the Advisors, ensure meeting packages are complete, clear and accurate, and make necessary updates to the document as directed.

Ensure the client and its employees experience a smooth and seamless transition to the new service provider when necessary by supporting the Advisor with the creation of and management of educational and enrollment materials.

Implement the account creation process for new accounts. Complete and submit necessary enrollment documents. Communicate and follow up with client, vendor and/or service provider, and/or Advisor to ensure administrative work is complete.

Administrative Management

Assist with updating pertinent information to the client relationship management system. Oversee an orderly filing system in hardcopy and electronic format

Provide support for technology implementation and maintenance such as online communication tools and surveys.

Work with Advisor to coordinate regulatory filings as required and to respond to other compliance related issues.

Assist with other general office duties, including back-up for the front desk as necessary

  • Bachelor's degree or Post secondary education in business, finance, or other related field may be used to substitue for required experience.
  • Written and Verbal communication skills
  • Ability to track, prioritize, and complete multiple assigned tasks in a busy environment
  • Thrive in a team-based environment that involves working closely with coworkers to achieve client and internal objectives
  • MS Suite, especially Word, Excel and Outlook

Salary Range: $54,000 to$90,000 DOE
