As a dedicated professional, you will be the bridge between clients and the complex world of benefits planning, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and supportive experience.

Job Responsibilities


Manage the full renewal process between clients and carriers, including reviewing benefits plans, consulting on policy changes, and creating detailed presentations.

Provide producer support by helping with estimates, performing carrier negotiations, and binding policies.
Facilitate open enrollments by providing benefits and benefits technology support to the Human Resource personnel at each client.
Maintain and independently manage a book of business, ensuring each client's needs are met with precision and care.

Work closely with clients who have fully, level, or self-funded plans, utilizing your experience and learning new aspects as needed.

Commit to a 4-day in-office workweek in Gig Harbor, with Fridays as a work-from-home day.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2+ years of experience managing a book of business independently in the field of employee benefits.
Experience with any fully, level, or self-funded plans is acceptable, with a willingness to learn new aspects as required.
Candidates must reside near Gig Harbor and be prepared to work in the office.
Exclusive experience in independent agency/broker environments. Candidates from captive agencies, direct writers, life insurance, Medicare, or individual benefits will not be considered.
High people skills, with a strong level of conscientiousness and agreeableness, ensuring a solution-oriented approach to client service.
