Join our team at Starr Hill Brewery as a General Manager to oversee our Roanoke and Lynchburg Tap Rooms As the GM, you'll take charge of all aspects of the tap rooms' performance, from promotions to operations, aiming to enhance customer satisfaction and financial results. Reporting to the Director of Retail Operations at Starr Hill, this role will involve managing the Roanoke and Lynchburg locations with some travel required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations, including staffing, cleanliness, and communication
  • Recruit, train, and supervise tap room staff to deliver exceptional service
  • Manage inventories, orders, and partnerships efficiently
  • Develop promotional strategies to boost sales and profits
  • Ensure top-notch cleanliness and organization across all areas
  • Adhere to company policies and regulations to operate within the law

Marketing and Programming Duties:

  • Create and implement customer programs to drive sales
  • Execute advertising and community engagement initiatives within budget
  • Curate social media content for tap room handles
  • Collaborate with corporate marketing for brand alignment
  • Explore local sponsorship and event opportunities
  • Coordinate small-batch product promotions with the brewing team
  • Enhance Mug Club relationships for an optimal member experience

Reporting and Collaboration:

  • Contribute to budget planning and monthly business reviews
  • Engage with other GMs to share best practices
  • Provide customer feedback to senior management

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of hospitality management experience
  • Positive attitude, energy, and great customer service
  • Strong personnel management and multitasking skills
  • Experience in handling confidential information
