Specialty Plasma and Platelet Collection
Phlebotomist Training Instructor dedicated to making a positive difference.

Your impact as a Plasma Collections Training Instructor is vital. You will support Plasma Source life-saving mission by providing orientation, training, and continued education to both new and experienced team members. You will get to provide both onsite and virtual training consisting of all aspects of specialty plasma and platelet collections training (schedules, training materials, competencies, classroom and field and follow up with new team members post training).

As a Collections Training Instructor, you will get to:

  • Encourage, mentor and provide a positive learning environment to ensure team members flourish in their new/existing roles.
  • Maintain expertise in all aspects of Collections processes and procedures.
  • Communicate with hiring managers on team member's progression and training assessments.
  • Manages electronic training files and LMS (Learning Management System) according to regulations and standards.
  • Assist in the development and analysis of local training needs.
  • Develop and implement retraining plans, training methods, and training materials/activities.
  • Assist in planning and evaluating training resources.

Education:

  • High School Diploma Required
  • Associates or Bachelors is Preferred

Licenses:

  • Current CPR Certification Required

Experience:

  • Two years' experience in blood banking or plasma center
    required
:

  • Two years' experience with apheresis phlebotomy
    required
:

  • One year training experience
    required
:

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
    required
:

  • One year supervisor/leadership experience preferred.
