The compensation for this position is set at $21.63 per hour with an additional $1,000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits package.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Health and Human Services, social work, or a related field. Alternatively, a minimum of 5 years of experience in Health and Human Services is accepted.
  • Experience: 3 years of direct experience serving families.
Summary:

The Home Visitor role involves providing top-notch services to the community while ensuring compliance with program standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Outreach and recruitment for the Texas Home Visiting Program
  • Establish and maintain relationships with families
  • Implement Safe Care curriculum with caregivers
  • Administer assessments and screening tools
  • Provide case management services
  • Offer parent health education and support services
  • Conduct follow-ups and organize events
  • Record services and activities accurately
Measurable Deliverables:
  • Obtain and maintain Safe Care curriculum certification
  • Document attendance in Salesforce
  • Attend required trainings
  • Provide community education monthly
  • Develop community education materials
Credentials, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Maintain necessary licenses and certifications
  • Pass drug screenings and background checks
  • Demonstrate cultural sensitivity
  • Effective communication skills
  • Work independently and in a team
  • Travel as needed
  • Manage time efficiently
