The compensation for this position is set at $21.63 per hour with an additional $1,000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits package.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Health and Human Services, social work, or a related field. Alternatively, a minimum of 5 years of experience in Health and Human Services is accepted.
- Experience: 3 years of direct experience serving families.
The Home Visitor role involves providing top-notch services to the community while ensuring compliance with program standards.
Responsibilities:- Outreach and recruitment for the Texas Home Visiting Program
- Establish and maintain relationships with families
- Implement Safe Care curriculum with caregivers
- Administer assessments and screening tools
- Provide case management services
- Offer parent health education and support services
- Conduct follow-ups and organize events
- Record services and activities accurately
- Obtain and maintain Safe Care curriculum certification
- Document attendance in Salesforce
- Attend required trainings
- Provide community education monthly
- Develop community education materials
- Maintain necessary licenses and certifications
- Pass drug screenings and background checks
- Demonstrate cultural sensitivity
- Effective communication skills
- Work independently and in a team
- Travel as needed
- Manage time efficiently
