Role Description

Candidate will be responsible for the following tasks, but the main position is to find and onboard individuals who would like to open their own business selling insurance for Farmers Insurance. Individuals can be located anywhere in the state of Michigan, and we are looking for agents to open agencies anywhere in the State. You would not have to travel, and this is not a sales or commission form of income, but rather a salary with additional bonus opportunity.

-Run Social Media for the district

-Join and monitor Career and Job Search Engines

-Screen candidates and communicate the Agent Opportunity

-Answer initial questions candidates might have about becoming an agent

-Run initial interviews to screen candidates for 2nd interview

-Initializing background checks

-Help with agent setup and on boarding in our system

-Help with Agent licensing and NIPR

-Run Job Fairs and be engaged in community involvement

-$60,000 annual Salary

-Bonus for each successful hire

-3 Weeks paid vacation (15 days)

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with insurance products and services
  • Proficiency in computer systems and software
  • Customer service experience is preferred
  • Property and Casualty Insurance Licenses recommended
