Job Summary:

  • Play a pivotal role as the TAPD Business Development Manager in propelling business growth and enhancing customer support through expanding parts offerings, forging industry partnerships, exploring new opportunities, and introducing innovative parts solutions to the market.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, external suppliers, and other aviation entities to drive strategic opportunities across various areas including aircraft products, STC and PMA solutions, and legacy aircraft parts support strategies.
  • Take on a crucial global position within Textron Aviation Parts and Distribution, influencing the future of our aftermarket business and overall brand.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop parts sales strategies in coordination with internal resources and external suppliers.
  • Analyze and execute strategic initiatives, focusing on legacy aircraft strategy development and new product offerings.
  • Utilize market data and analytics to create growth strategies based on aircraft fleet demographics and competitive landscape.
  • Stay informed about general aviation aftermarket trends and issues, providing valuable insights to the organization.
  • Create and execute business cases and implementation plans, identifying and resolving issues along the way.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Aviation, Engineering, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • FAA Pilot or Maintenance ratings preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales or business development experience, preferably in aviation.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent strategic thinking, planning, and execution skills.
  • Effective communication across all organizational levels.
  • Strong project management, networking, analytical, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Self-motivated team player with the ability to travel up to 25%.
