Position Overview:
ImageTrend is seeking an experienced Manager, Sales Engineering to join our growing team.

This role will play a critical role in leading a team of talented sales engineers, providing technical expertise, and supporting the sales process to drive revenue growth.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical sales, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for driving results in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of sales engineers, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure team success.
  • Technical Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert on ImageTrend's software solutions, demonstrating a deep understanding of product features, functionality, and technical capabilities.
  • Sales Support: Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand customer needs, develop tailored solutions, and effectively communicate the value proposition of ImageTrend's products and services.
  • Solution Design: Work with customers to understand their requirements and develop customized solutions that address their specific needs and challenges.
  • Product Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations for prospective customers, showcasing the capabilities and benefits of ImageTrend's solutions.
  • Proposal Development: Assist in the preparation of proposals, RFP responses, and other sales-related documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with customer requirements.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, serving as a trusted advisor and technical resource throughout the sales process and beyond.
  • Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies, providing valuable insights to inform sales strategies and product development efforts.
  • Travel to onsite client or sales meetings, team offsites, industry or company events, or other onsite meetings as required, up to 30%
  • Additional duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proven experience in technical sales, sales engineering, or related roles
  • Leadership experience managing direct reports
  • Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong business acumen and ability to manage complex processes with internal and external multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Deep understanding of software solutions, SaaS business models, and cloud technologies
  • Experience working in healthcare, emergency medical services, or public safety industries a plus
