Join Our Team as a Nursing Admissions Counselor at the University of Providence
Are you passionate about helping students pursue their dreams of becoming nurses? The University of Providence is looking for a Nursing Admissions Counselor to be part of our on-campus team. In this role, you'll be pivotal in attracting and enrolling qualified students in our prestigious nursing programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement targeted recruitment plans for nursing programs aligned with the university's strategy.
- Identify and engage with prospective students in nursing-rich areas, guiding them through the admissions process.
- Manage the nursing enrollment pipeline efficiently, from inquiry to enrollment.
- Provide detailed information on admissions, financial aid, programs, and student life to prospective nursing students.
- Collaborate with admissions and athletics to execute the recruitment plan and events calendar.
- Attend regional and national nursing recruitment events.
- Establish strong partnerships with community colleges, clinics, and high school counselors to enhance nursing pipelines.
- Offer personalized guidance on applications, financial aid, and scholarships.
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders such as counselors, churches, etc.
- Track and report data on nursing recruitment initiatives.
- Conduct interactive campus visits for prospective students, both individuals and groups.
- Share current campus information with prospective students from faculty and staff.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor or enrollment VP.
- Promote teamwork and embody the University's mission in all responsibilities.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree required.
EXPERIENCE
- Prior successful experience in education, sales, admissions, healthcare, or recruitment.
- Experience with private, Catholic, liberal arts education is a plus.
- Knowledge of and/or experience with the college athletic recruitment process is preferred.
