Job Title:
Assistant Clinical Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Oversight:

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines.
  • Supervise clinical staff and provide guidance on patient care protocols.
  • Implement policies and procedures to optimize patient outcomes and safety.

Administrative Management:

  • Oversee scheduling, billing, and insurance processes.
  • Manage inventory and ordering of medical supplies.
  • Coordinate with vendors and external partners as needed.

Staff Development:

  • Recruit, train, and evaluate clinical and administrative staff.
  • Foster a positive work environment and promote professional growth opportunities.

Quality Assurance:

  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators related to patient care and operational efficiency.
  • Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance overall service delivery.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Serve as a liaison between medical providers, staff, and management.
  • Facilitate effective communication channels to ensure cohesive teamwork and information sharing.

Budget Management:

  • Assist in developing and managing the departmental budget.
  • Identify costsaving opportunities and optimize resource allocation.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, MA or X-Ray Licences, or related field experience.
  • Proven experience in a clinical management role within a medical office or surgery center.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology, billing practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and empower staff.
  • Proficiency in administrative tasks such as scheduling, inventory management, and financial analysis.
  • Detailoriented with exceptional organizational and problemsolving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of healthcare IT systems and electronic medical records (EMR) software.
  • Familiarity with quality improvement methodologies and patient satisfaction initiatives.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.

Note:

While not required, certification or training in healthcare management or administration (e.g., Certified Medical Manager, Certified Healthcare Administrative Professional) would be advantageous.

Additionally, experience with specific surgical procedures or specialties relevant to the surgery center's focus may be beneficial.

Pay:
From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
