Maintenance Controls Engineer
- Primary Purpose of Role:
The Maintenance Controls Engineer is responsible for developing technical specifications, testing, and overseeing the implementation of new equipment to meet business unit requirements and company standards. This role also involves supporting maintenance operations personnel in troubleshooting and enhancing the functionality of equipment throughout the organization.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Review and update control system specifications for new equipment
- Participate in equipment run-offs to ensure proper function
- Develop and support a control systems infrastructure for communication
- Provide production support for fabrication and assembly equipment
- Support training of skilled trades and end users
- Identify trends and propose system modifications
- Ensure a physical presence in the workplace

- Basic CNC programming knowledge
- Understanding of mechanical and hydraulic systems

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field
Experience:
- Required:
- 3+ years experience in Maintenance or Controls Engineering
- Experience with industrial control systems
- Experience with Allen-Bradley PAC/PLCs
- Preferred:
- Experience in Transmission Test Stand Control Systems
- Experience with Leak Testing methodologies
- Experience with CNC Control Systems and device communication networks
