Job Summary:

  • Offer virtual speech therapy services to clients in Illinois.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to assess speech, language, and communication issues.
  • Create personalized treatment plans based on assessment outcomes, client objectives, and proven methods.
  • Lead therapy sessions through teletherapy platforms, using suitable techniques to address speech and language concerns.
  • Keep precise records of therapy sessions, progress updates, and necessary documentation following organizational and regulatory guidelines.
  • Follow the ethical and professional requirements set by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and state licensing rules.
  • Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  • Show flexibility in scheduling to meet clients' needs and changing caseload demands.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in Illinois.
  • Preferably hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
  • Proficient in using teletherapy platforms and remote service technology.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
