Chemical Production EngineerCharlotte, NC areaOverview:

You will be working at a modern and clean 200-person site with three separate production units producing specialty chemicals some of which are medical grade.

This facility has doubled their headcount in the past 10 years. The plant equipment includes mixers, reactors, powder handling units, steam traps, and pumps of all types. You'll focus on day-to-day support, firefighting, troubleshooting, management of change (MOCs), and continuous improvement projects.

This job reports to the Production Manager and you will collaborate with Quality Control, Project Engineering and work extensively with plant operators to gather their insights and recommendations.

The plant is on the Charlotte/SC border and is surrounded by affordable housing with a variety of outdoor activities. Charlotte has a major international airport, and the ocean is about 3 1/2 hours away (Myrtle Beach, Charleston). This company offers a competitive relocation package, an annual bonus, and superior benefits.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors in Chemical Engineering.1+ years of hands-on experience out of chemicals, resins, pharmaceuticals, or foods.
Must have experience working with operators, pumps, and valves.
