We are recruiting a Dispensary Manager to lead our Electric Lettuce, Oregon City team...


What you'll do

Customer Engagement:

  • Model and ensure delivery of exceptional customer service
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and build individual customer experiences
  • Promote the store and brand through active community events and networking

Team Leadership and Training:

  • Plan, direct, and manage store staff, ensuring effective communication of company goals and policies
  • Conduct interviews, hire top talent, lead onboarding and training of new staff
  • Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to all staff

Financial Oversight:

  • Ability to create a culture that focuses on sales to meet revenue targets
  • Monitor sales transactions, discount usage, and cash reconciliation
  • Report sales, inventory, and financial goals to the Retail Management Team

Inventory and Compliance Management:

  • Maintain compliant inventory practices, ensuring accurate tracking and organization
  • Ensure Staff is trained and adept in OLCC and company rules and regulations
  • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and ensure store compliance

Communication and Reporting:

  • Ensure effective store operations through clear and accurate communication
  • Report customer and employee incidents promptly and maintain documentation
  • Contribute to weekly company meetings and provide regular updates

Performance and Talent Management:

  • Conduct interviews, hire top talent, and recommend performance management actions
  • Conduct timely one-on-one meetings and provide in the moment feedback to employees
  • Ensure team alignment with organizational goals and initiatives

What we look for

  • Leaders with a passion for the cannabis industry
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Boutique Retail Sales with emphasis on people engagement and performance management
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Hold, or be willing to obtain, a valid Marijuana Handler's Permit
  • Ability to adhere to all OLCC and company rules and regulations
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, and kneel daily in retail and production environments that include concrete or other hard-surface floors
  • Ability to push, pull and carry up to 50 pounds multiple times daily
