***As Idaho's premier metal recycling center, North American Recycling's experience is second to none; and over the years we have worked with thousands of customers, from local residents with a few pounds of cans to large companies with truckloads of scrap material. We are currently seeking a Production Laborer.***
Identifies and sorts different types of materials
Must be courteous and patient with employees and customers
Able to be a team contributor and be able to work on your own
Helps with housekeeping/including sweeping during down times
Responsible for observing and following all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment
Must be willing to fill other tasks when needed by supervisor
**Minimum Qualifications:**
Excellent Interpersonal skills
Able to work in the heat of the summer and cold of the winter
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Good attendance and punctuality is a must
Ability to provide quality customer service
Basic computer skills desired
Effective written communication skills and ability to complete paperwork promptly
Analytical and Problem solving skills
Experience operating forklifts and or/ skidsteers or other heavy equipment a plus
**Physical Requirements:**
Ability to sit, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach and work on your feet for extended periods of time
The employee occasionally is required to lift up to 50 pounds. The employee is frequently required to use hands, fingers; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel or crouch.
Able to work in the heat of the summer and cold of the winter
