POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are looking for self-motivated and driven individuals who can support and promote a team atmosphere.

This individual will do so by supporting the finance and operations teams with their excellent analytical skills, organization, and attention to detail.


Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Collect and organize cost information into database
  • Construct systems to efficiently and accurately accumulate and monitor data
  • Determine and calculate formulas for fixed and variable costs
  • Plan budgets and prepare reports for multiple departments within the company
  • Review receipts and compare with actual charges to detect and prevent inaccuracies
  • Project profit margins for upcoming quarters and analyze trends
  • Prepare cost forecast for monthly, quarterly, or annual operating schedules
  • Analyze month-end and year-end reports to identify and recommend cost-effective improvements.
  • Develop and maintain inventory costing methods to accurately reflect the value of inventory, while also monitoring inventory transactions and reconciling inventory records to ensure accuracy
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to minimize shrinkage, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and conduct regular inventory audits to verify accuracy and integrity of inventory records
  • Support key business partners with trends and insights
  • Assist with other general accounting and finance projects on an ad-hoc basis

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of progressive experience with a minimum of 2+ years as a cost accountant, analyst, or other relevant role, absorption accounting or standard costing experience a plus.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance required.
  • Knowledgeable on Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), CPA qualification a plus
  • Proficient in MS Excel and basic data entry platforms.
  • Familiar with ERP Systems, Business Central experience a plus.
  • High attention to detail and quality.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under strict deadlines.
  • Respect for confidentiality of information laws and local ethics.
  • Hands-on ability to use of Power BI and Power Pivot and being curious about learning and using new tools to automate is a plus
  • Ability to adapt to a quickly growing and evolving business environment
