Our office is currently partnering with an established design/build group that has an immediate opening for an Engineering Project Manager to their team near their office in Northwest IN. The company has a strong presence in agricultural and light industrial construction sector with current and upcoming projects across the US. We are searching for an individual with commercial/industrial preconstruction management experience. Exprience with industrial agriculture, food/beverage, or commercial/industrial project experience.

This position may also offer a remote office setting for the right individual. Preferably within the IN or surrounding states.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Provide prexconstruction management and performance of planning, designing, and building of projects
  • Evaluate, select and apply engineering concepts and criteria while making substantial engineering decisions
  • Review design drawings, prepare project specs, review plans for compliance and regulatory standards, make crucial corrections
  • Material take-off, purchasing, and estimating of projects
  • Properly evaluate bids, make recommendations, and aid in the management of large-scale projects
  • Primarily office-based setting, with occasional travel when needed

Qualifications & Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, building construction management or related degree
  • Professional preconstruction or project management experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Technical abilities
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills
