Position: Quality Improvement Coordinator

Overview

The Quality Improvement Coordinator is tasked with aiding in the development, implementation, and evaluation of performance enhancement activities within PACE. Responsibilities encompass supporting the organization's performance refinement process, identifying performance patterns, and recommending improvements based on data-driven analysis. Ensuring compliance with State and Federal quality management requirements is also a vital aspect. This role reports to the Quality Improvement Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in enhancing PACE's performance
  • Recognize areas for performance enhancement
  • Oversee documentation compliance through chart audits
  • Manage data collection for HPMS submission
  • Coordinate and prepare Quality Subcommittees
  • Uphold quality and performance standards through continuous improvement
  • Support grievance procedures and customer satisfaction initiatives
  • Conduct performance reviews and audits as needed
  • Represent the department in meetings as necessary
  • Engage in ongoing education and community initiatives
  • Collaborate on additional departmental activities as required
Requirements

Education:
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree
Experience:
  • Required: One to three years of Quality/Risk/Patient Safety or healthcare experience
Licenses/Certifications:
  • Not Applicable

  • Proficiency in multitasking, problem-solving, and attention to detail
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish/Creole
  • Customer service orientation
  • Familiarity with regulatory and accrediting bodies
  • Deadline-driven with the ability to excel in high-pressure environments
  • Experience with statistical software and data visualization
  • Strong focus on detail and reporting accuracy
