Job Title: Development Coordinator

Location: Washington, DC

Work Site: Remote

Duration: Temporary Through the end of August

About Us: Our client, a reputable Non-Profit Organization, is currently seeking a Temporary Development Coordinator to bolster our fundraising and development initiatives in Washington, DC. This role is an excellent opportunity to contribute to impactful projects and support their vital mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and executing fundraising events, including logistics coordination, vendor communication, and volunteer management.
  • Support donor engagement activities by drafting correspondence, managing donor databases, and processing donations.
  • Conduct prospect research to identify potential new donors and funding opportunities.
  • Prepare and distribute fundraising materials, including grant proposals, reports, and donor newsletters.
  • Coordinate and track fundraising campaigns, ensuring timely follow-up and accurate data entry.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote fundraising events and campaigns via social media, email, and other channels.
  • Provide administrative support to the development team, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in fundraising, development, or a related area, preferably within the non-profit sector.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with donor management software (e.g., Raiser's Edge, Salesforce) is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in work.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Pay Details: $23.00 to $26.00 per hour
