The AWS Systems and Supportability (SnS) team is looking for a Sr. Manager - Technical Infrastructure Program Manager (TIPM) to join the Infrastructure Supply Planning Team.

The Supply Planning team is responsible for the material and the datacenter supply signal, with a focus on ensuring the signal is aligned with the financial plan, growth projections, agreed upon supply levers, and prior commits and plan of records.


The Supply planning team also works with the software automation teams specific to capturing and reporting on the supply signals.

The Supply Team is responsible for the week Supply Plan of Record (POR) for Server material planning and 0-10 year Supply POR for Data Center planning.

As a Sr.

Manager, TIPM in the SnS organization, you will play a key role in driving system changes to meet the capacity needs of our customers, and achieve key business goals with little human intervention via a combination of acceleration of various supply solutions and customer driven actions that optimize use of existing and new infrastructure.

You are an experienced leader who will have demonstrated leading large cross-functional and cross-organizational projects.

An ability to take large, technically complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces, develop actionable plans and successfully deliver them are expected.

This role is inherently cross-functional and requires the ability to think big and collaborate with others as you work closely with teams across AWS Infrastructure.

The shifting power and permitting constraints and critical nature of the role requires someone who maintains momentum, clarity of vision and adaptability while communicating effectively across a diverse set of customers, partners and leadership.

Communication with executive audiences is a regular occurrence.

High judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence without authority, analytical talent, technical aptitude, and leadership are therefore essential for success in this role.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of experience in technical program management, process improvement, implementation, risk identification and mitigation, and project execution. 10+ years experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition 10+ years experience with feature delivery 10+ years experience working directly with Engineers on program enhancements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 12+ years working within directly on Cloud Infrastructure Projects 10+ years experience in a supply chain function, hardware design and/or datacenter architecture

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets.

The base pay for this position ranges from $155,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $302,800/year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
