As the premier hospice provider in Northwest Arkansas, we manage two beautiful inpatient facilities and offer outpatient services in Benton, Washington, Madison, and Carroll counties.

Circle of Life stands out as the most prominent and highly regarded hospice provider in the region, operating as a respected nonprofit for over three decades.


The Social Worker plays a vital role within the Interdisciplinary team, focusing on creating and overseeing care plans for a designated group of patients and families, addressing their psychosocial, financial, and emotional needs.

They ensure coverage for both inpatient and outpatient hospice programs as necessary, collaborating with community resources to secure the required support for patients and families.

**Flexibility is essential** in order to meet the demands of patients and the organization. The Social Worker also contributes to mentoring interns and students, as well as facilitating bereavement programs when needed.

All social work activities adhere to the highest standards of practice, in line with COL's policies, procedures, and the regulations of the Arkansas Social Work licensure board.


Requirements:
  • Active Arkansas Social Work license with no limitations.
  • Emotional maturity, objectivity, and a sensitivity to people and their challenges.
  • Ability to handle responsibilities, work independently, and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Bilingual skills are advantageous.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy, phone etiquette, and written and verbal communication.
  • Strong organizational skills and time management abilities.
  • Willingness to work outside regular hours, be on call, and manage emergencies to meet the needs of patients and families.
  • Thorough understanding of Social Work practices and regulations.
  • Clear results from current TB and flu tests.
  • Knowledge of the dynamics of death, grief, and end-of-life matters is preferred.
  • Prior experience in hospice or healthcare settings is desirable.
