Job Store Staffing is seeking a Blasting Technician for our client company in Colorado Springs that specializes in the component design, manufacturing, and servicing of vacuum pumps.
Schedule: Monday through Friday from 7:30am-4:00pm, some overtime as needed
Starting Pay: $15/hour
Duration: Temporary to Hire
Location: West Colorado Springs, CO, 80919
Requirements:
- Attendance is key
- A background check and drug screen are conducted upon offer
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs consistently without issues
- Must be able to stand throughout entire shift
- Clean parts from disassembly with a parts washer and blasting machine
- Must stay organized with parts
- Wear PPE throughout the day
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on shop equipment as needed. This includes but is not limited to daily and monthly PM's as well as machine upkeep
- Safe use of hoists and hydraulic lifts to lift and transport heavy parts
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by keeping a tidy workspace and observing policies regarding safe work practices and personal protective equipment
- Other duties as assigned
