Financial Coordinator

Aston Carter is hiring a REMOTE Budget Coordinator to support their Budget Analysts. This is a great position to grow within an organization and enter a budget analyst position down the road. Candidates MUST BE LOCATED IN COLORADO

Job Description:

Tracking invoice approval status

Tracking each grant and ensuring budget is aligned with grant

Tracking updates on grants - (ex: has it been received? Has it been approved?)

Updating Google Sheets

Reviewing the funding availability and allowability

Updating invoice and payment trackers

Completing review checklist and coordinating with Budget Analyst for sign off

Timely follow-up

Utilizing existing systems to support staff in fiscal monitoring of a variety of contracts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:


• 1-2 years in entry level financial admin role


• Attention to detail


• Communication via email, chat, and video meetings


• Familiarity and comfort working in a remote environment utilizing the google environment - google sheets (web version of excel)


• Savvy with spreadsheets


• Experience with Federal grants nice, but not required
