Job Corps is a government-funded education and vocational training program under the U.S. Department of Labor, focused on helping disadvantaged youth.
Position:
Custodian/Groundskeeper

Days:
Monday-Friday

Hours:
6:30am-3:00pm

Job Summary:
The Custodian/Groundskeeper is responsible for general maintenance duties within the center.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Follow Company Core Values and operating principles.
- Perform janitorial and groundskeeping tasks.
- Assist with snow removal.
- Handle minor building maintenance.
- Support in equipment and furniture relocation.
- Provide guidance to trainees in maintenance.
- Instruct on workplace behavior and skills.
- Offer counseling and mentoring to ensure trainee success.
- Perform assigned duties to support the organization's mission and culture.

Requirements:

Minimum:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic English literacy.
- Six months experience in transportation/building maintenance.

Preferred:
- One year or more relevant work experience.

Knowledge:
- Valid State driver's license required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain CPR/FA certification.
