The Content Marketing Specialist is in charge of developing, planning, and implementing ZEISS's overall content strategy. They play a crucial role in managing the creation and production of marketing content and assets, both online and offline, to boost the brand and generate leads for the assigned product and/or solution on a global scale.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing global B2B communication concepts for products and solutions related to Glaucoma and Retina diagnostics, collaborating closely with the Strategic Marketing team and other internal stakeholders.
  • Defining global communication approaches and messaging based on customer insights and competitive analysis, validated by the target group of ophthalmologists.
  • Setting up and executing global multichannel lead generation campaigns with a focus on digital platforms (website, email automation, social media), including creating campaign assets and clinical content collaterals.
  • Developing and managing product websites incorporating SEO and SEA concepts.
  • Overseeing project management and internal approval processes from start to finish.
  • Monitoring the success of campaigns closely, establishing KPIs and creating relevant dashboards.
  • Collaborating with internal teams like Strategic Marketing, Product Management, Professional Education, and Brand guideline team.
  • Briefing and overseeing external partners (creative agencies, media agencies, production companies), negotiating project bids, and managing budgets and timelines efficiently.
  • Coordinating with local counterparts in various countries, tailoring campaigns, supporting localization efforts, and identifying material modification needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Journalism, Communication, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in global marketing communication within a B2B setting, with a preference for medical device marketing.
  • Strong expertise in Communication strategies, Customer insights, Marketing automation, Website performance, Analytics tools, SEO, and social media.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Result-oriented with solid project management abilities, capable of handling multiple tasks effectively under pressure.
  • Team player with strong networking skills and the capacity to manage relationships within and across organizations.
  • Experience working in a global environment.

Hourly pay for this position is $63.00.

This role's compensation may vary based on factors like location, scope of role, qualifications, education, experience, and talent scarcity.

The position is eligible for a performance bonus and offers a range of benefits including medical plans, retirement savings, and paid time off.
