As the Senior Director of Product and Marketing for HID Global Secure Issuance's FARGO Business Unit, you will be responsible for all aspects of leading and growing a Product and Marketing team. HID Global Secure Issuance is a business area within HID Global that offers an industry defining portfolio of products related to the issuance of identity credentials.
Our FARGO Business Unit within Secure Issuance is looking for a highly motivated & seasoned individual to play a critical role as we strengthen our leadership position within the market, execute our GTM (Go-to-Market) strategy, product strategy, channel marketing, and strategic marketing initiatives.

HID Global Secure Issuance's FARGO Business Unit is seeking a Senior Director of Product and Marketing to lead our product and marketing teams. This role is instrumental in driving our company's growth and success. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in GTM (Go-to-Market) strategy, product strategy, channel marketing, and strategic marketing. They will be responsible for developing and executing innovative marketing strategies, driving product development initiatives, leading our marketing efforts, and shaping our overall strategic marketing direction.
This role will be responsible for the development and execution of product strategy for the FARGO Business Unit products. They will lead and develop a team of product managers and brand managers to execute on the vision, roadmap and marketing efforts of a portfolio of products and services. They will demonstrate and elevate the team's ability to focus on customer needs, understand and track market trends and dynamics, champion strong business cases that deliver impactful ROI and be held accountable for the portfolio's P&L performance.
The Senior Director will need to influence many stakeholders and drive change management and processes. The candidate is a business leader with a strategic perspective, business judgement, and extensive strategic marketing experience who can effectively lead teams to drive change and deliver outstanding products and business outcomes.
As our Senior Director of Product and Marketing , you'll support HID's success by:
Strategic Marketing:
- Developing and implementing overarching strategic marketing plans that align with the company's business objectives and growth targets.
- Identifying market opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on emerging trends and customer needs.
- Collaborating with executive leadership to define the company's market positioning and brand strategy, ensuring a consistent and compelling brand identity across all marketing efforts.
- Developing and executing comprehensive Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies for new product launches and existing product lines.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align marketing, sales, and product development efforts to drive revenue growth.
- Conducting market research and analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.
- Leading the product strategy and roadmap, working closely with product development teams to ensure alignment with market demands and company goals.
- Driving the development of new products and enhancements to existing products, from ideation to launch, ensuring they meet customer needs and market requirements.
- Collaborating with sales, customer support, and other departments to gather feedback and insights for product improvements.
- Developing and overseeing digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and online advertising, to drive online traffic, engagement, and conversions.
- Utilizing data-driven insights to optimize digital marketing campaigns and improve overall online customer experience.
- Staying updated on emerging digital marketing trends and technologies, implementing best practices to enhance the company's online presence and reach.
- Developing and maintaining strong channel marketing programs to increase mind and market share with our expanding global network of Value-Add Resellers, Distributors and System Integration partners.
- Providing strong leadership and guidance to the marketing and product teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Mentoring and developing team members, encouraging professional growth and skill development.

- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or related Field. Master's Degree Desirable
- 10+ years of experience in marketing, product management, and strategic marketing roles, with a proven track record of success in driving GTM strategies, product development, digital marketing initiatives, and marketing efforts.
- Significant leadership experience in an international, multi-site and multicultural business environment
- Prudent technical comprehension skills related to electro-mechanical systems, electronic hardware and software solutions
- Experience with Agile SAFe design methods
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate data and market insights into actionable marketing and product strategies.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and strategies to internal teams and external stakeholders.
