Job Title: Solder-Electrical Assembler
Job Type: Full time; Consultant (6 months )
Location: Vergennes, VT 05491
Schedule: Monday to Friday; First Shift
Pay Rate: $24.50 per hour

Job Duties:

  • Once properly trained and/or certified, perform specific tasks including but not limited to, soldering, hardware installation, post coating.
  • Troubleshoots electrical malfunctions, inspects circuits and wiring for shielding and grounding, and tests electrical equipment for safety and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • MUST BE IPC J-STD Certified
  • Work consists of mounting of components, wiring, soldering, cabling, fitting, and adjusting, disassembly and rework of units.
  • Uses SAP and accurately follows work instructions.
  • Interprets schematics and/or technical drawings.
  • Utilizes microelectronic, electronic, optical, electro-optical, mechanical, or electromechanical equipment.
  • Replacement of defective parts, wires, and components, correction of wiring errors, repair of poor mechanical connections, solder joints, reworks mechanical assemblies, reworks post coating or any assembly.
  • Rework of solder, weld of all modular electronic units, and solving write-up problems.
  • Uses ohmmeter, voltmeter, and transistor continuity checker.
  • Bags and seals equipment.
Pay Details: $24.50 per hour
