To strengthen our team in Charleston,
we are looking for you as a(n) Specialist Security & Access Ctrl Support.

The Security and Access Control Support Specialist will be responsible for ensuring security objectives of the Wacker CHA Site are aligned with Wacker Directives, site security protocols and other requirements. In addition, the Security and Access Control Support Specialist will also be responsible for coordinating the site's access control and key control system during their working shift.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Security Staff assigned to their shift in performance of Security Staff's assigned post orders
  • Request/apply necessary profiles for individuals according to Security and access control plan
  • Coordinate with entry gates for permission for entry into the facility
  • Check Identity and limit access for visitors
  • Receive notification of new employees and preplanned visits
  • Compare Active Rosters from contractors to ACS (Access Control System)
  • Abide by and enforce Security and Access Control Plan
  • Process requests and issue vehicle permits
  • Actively issue and retrieve keys to authorized Team Members
  • Maintain the automated key control inventory database
Job Requirements:
  • GED or High school Diploma required
  • Meet State of TN background requirements for an unarmed security guard
  • Registered as a unarmed security officer in the State of TN preferred
  • 2+ years of security experience required
  • Law Enforcement or Military experience (private preferred)
  • Ability to obtain full working knowledge of Start Frame Access Control Software within 3 months
  • Basic knowledge of excel and ability to manipulate a database
  • Knowledge of private security practices and ability to supervise contract security officers
  • Capable to work and act in an emergency occurs
  • Ability to supervise security staff members
  • Communication between interdepartmental, internal and external personnel
  • Ability to work Night Shift.
