Duties

Assist in daily business operations:
Answer the phone

Maintain reservation system

Interact with customers in a positive and friendly manner

Operate POS and register system

Prepare and clean rental equipment

Assist customers with basic paddling skills

Load and unload equipment on trailer

Deliver rental equipment to local cottages and launch sites

Assist in marketing objectives:
Update social media messaging

Stage marketing photography

Share ideas for marketing events, sales, specials and new marketing project

Assist in planning, promoting, and managing scheduled special events throughout the season.

Essential Functions

Have the desire to learn, serve others, and make a difference

Willingness and physical ability to work on a variety of projects, which will include using power and hand tools

Heavy lifting, bending, and carrying up to 60 pounds

Walking and working across steep or uneven terrain

Working in extremes of heat or cold, as well as being exposed to biting and stinging insects

Ability to perform tasks as part of a cooperative team

Non-judgmental attitude, sensitivity to others, approachable

Responsible and reliable

Interest in personal growth and in participating in on-going training
