Position Summary:


Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the US, is looking to hire a skilled Regional Fleet Manager in Everett, WA The Regional Fleet Manager will oversee an aggressive preventative maintenance repair program, including the maintenance of medium to heavy duty diesel trucks and trailers, and other equipment to ensure a safe and efficient fleet.

Maintain business relationships with current and new accounts while ensuring a team of Fleet Managers have the tools to be successful.


Compensation:
Competitive Salary Pay - Paid weekly, every Friday Salary Range - $110-135k plus additional bonus opportunities

What the Regional Fleet Manager role looks like:
Support the Executive VP of Field Operations to ensure operations and company's needs are met.

Lead, educate and develop your Fleet Managers.

Monitor employee's performance and be accessible to all areas of the shop.

Provide support to the operations team regarding all equipment related issues.

Monitor and analyze all opportunities to cut costs and improve efficiencies.

Perform administrative functions; including payroll approval, scanner downloads, repair order maintenance and compliance documentation.

Address all corrective action regarding direct reports.

Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.

What our ideal candidates looks like:
Must possess at least 10+ years' industry experience in fleet maintenance management or operations capacity within the auto/diesel industry

Must possess 10+ years as a Manager within the automotive or diesel industry.

Must have experience in expanding business in a fleet environment

Prior technician/mechanic experience is required

Must be familiar with light-heavy truck/trailer repair and maintenance

ASE certifications are a plus

High school diploma or equivalent

Must be able to travel as needed

Basic written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.)

Thorough knowledge of tractor and trailer maintenance, DOT rules and regulations, company policies and procedures

Proven leadership and interpersonal skills

Strong computer skills

Working Conditions:
Exposure to heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job.

Exposure to considerable amounts of dust, diesel fumes and noise.

Exposure to chemicals, oils, greases or other irritants.

Ability to move and position heavy objects

Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel and crawl to repair vehicles

Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
